Riviera Maya - Spring Break 2018
So, this is very very late but I figured that late is better than never. I finally edited my Spring Break montage after editing my three vlogs. While I was editing this montage, I highkey got very emotional. For one, I was editing these while reminiscing about my last spring break as a college student. Two, I've tried to stay away from thinking about graduating because I'm actually pretty sad about it.
Graduating is crazy.
But anyway, let me tell you about my first and last spring break vacation as a college student.
We took a flight out of Newark around 7:30 AM. We got to the resort around 1:30 PM, we checked in, and the drinking began. Since we only had half a day, we decided to just chill and scout out the resort. We met some pretty cool people - a lot of high school Canadians were there. This was the day we met Roberto!
We started the day with mimosas from our favorite host, Roberto! We got dressed for the pool and took some cute pictures. For the most part, we stayed in the pool the whole day. The highlight of Day 2 was that we got the aux cord!! The downside that was a blessing in disguise was that it rained. However, we decided to get massages and spend some time in their spa that had hot tubs, cold tubs, saunas, and steam rooms.
Our last day. We went on a Catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres. This was by far the most eventful day of the trip. It started out cloudy but the sun eventually showed face. We snorkeled for our first activity. That was pretty exciting because that was my first time snorkeling. After that, we had lunch at a private beach. I was pulled in to play a tequila relay game - it was pretty hype. Lastly we visited Isla Mujeres where we didn't do much because we were all pretty drunk by then. The rest of the day was kind of a blur.
